Teenagers....

Ok.....My son has the same thing to do 2xs a week... same day,,, same time.. but can never remember.!!!!! He has forgotten to take the trash to the curb for about 3 weeks... so it is in front of my house now piled in cans, neatly. I would not do it, trying to make him do his chore! However by me trying to prove a point and not taking it out to the curb, the toownship came to my door to give me a fine. So I called the trash co and the soonest they can come is on Friday our next pickup date. So I am thinking, maybe I should forget to feed him? Forget to drive him places? Forget to pay his cell bill? He did get me a rose Vday.... he remebered that! But I am still annoyed about the trash.

OK... this blog is about how we as Sms ( single moms) feel, about how to make our live better, and be great moms. I do not spout statistics or surveys on the life of Sms.. I talk about my life, and how I perceive things. And solutions to issues that I think work.

One of my dearest and longest friends just left, our kids are close which is very nice as well! She moved about 20 minutes from our old neighbor hood, than I moved farther from her. :( So when we get together it is always nice! She suggested that I start this blog, to add to my Motivational Speaking... and I thought this was an EXCELLENT idea... so thanks to you C!!!
She left due to the fact that we are getting MORE snow... whoopee freaking do!! I have had these kids in the house since last Wed... I am praying that they go to school tomorrow!!! I think I may go get a bottle of wine... lol... But I cant do that because my teenager called to see if I can pick him up from a friends.. that he walked to earlier. How is it I can not get him to do a thing, but he expects me to jump and run for him?? Until next time, Tara

Starting to blog...About me

Hi everyone...well who ever is there! I am Tara Ewalt a motivational speaker for single moms. I lost my fiancee to an act of violence when I was 8 months pregnant with my son. No life insurance, I went back to work as a Dental Assistant, and waitress, and went to school part time. While I was working in the dental office I developed a life threatening allergy to latex. I would up going into cardiac arrest, then had a minor stroke. After I was out of the hospital, I had to start over and find a new career. I also remarried, had my daughter and was divorced 2 years later. I then was left to start over. I then started my own business, You've Got It Maid. And went back to school. I had had the business for 9 years, and starting Motivational Speaking for Single Moms this year. I hope to inspire and help other single moms through this journey.
